HAVE A HAPPY SPRING!

I've been away from my blog for quite some time. Alot of "stuff" going on. I finally got my Mother down here in South Carolina from Maryland, got us a new apartment in Greenville, South Carolina in the historic section right across from where I work. Now I walk to work. I can't tell you what a relief it is not to have to commute on interstates to work any more. It was alot of mess packing and moving but we got er done. This way I don't have to worry about her while I'm working and I just jump over for lunch with her every day. I've had to drop my line of cloth dolls from my Etsy shop because their faces were painted on and due to the new governmental regulations about testing each individual item it just wasn't monetarily feasible to incur that cost. So I've donated most of my Simply Dimple Dolls to the church to give to those in need and who would really appreciate them. I gave the rest to their namesakes. My granddaughter Mia just loves her little Mia doll. I'm strictly working on needlefelted art sculptures now but regretably haven't had the time to get back to it lately. I'm 1/2 done an adorable little Panda and hope to have him listed soon. I hope everyone takes time to enjoy the Spring.

I'M IN MY FIRST TREASURY ON ETSY!

Yesterday my Ayala the Fairy appeared in a Treasury on Etsy, my first. I was so happy when I found out. I've actually been noticed. All of the fairies in the Treasury were absolutely beautiful and wonderfully creative. If you get a chance click the link below and take a peek see at the Treasury while it is running.

CHEYENNE IS FINISHED

I finally finished Cheyenne,
my needlefelted doll sculpture
I just listed on Etsy.

She's photographed here with
my earlier work, The Ghost.

I named her Cheyenne after my cousin Johnnie's little girl.

Cheyenne is the only person that The Ghost will let come near. He must sense that she won't hurt him. I hope you like her.

Here's some other pics:

I just love needlefelting.

It takes me away to a different place.

You can see more of my works at flickr.com/photos/felted.

ARTISAN'S CHALLENGE WEEK OF 10/20-10/27

I came in second place in The Aritsans Challenge at artisanschallenge.blogspot.com! I big thank you goes out to all of my friends who voted for me. I held a strong lead most of the week but lost my lead yesterday to a beautiful necklace that I would have voted for myself if I weren't running against it. It was great fun and I feel blessed that so many people came out and voted for me. I had alot of fun.
